TOWERS
Project no.2
Towers was a newly added fourth year, first semester project that facilitated and encouraged the collaboration between students not only to design and develop a multi-storey tower but also had the option to redevelop the surrounding site context. We were placed in groups of three for this project for the three sites that where available. My group decided to push the boundaries by redesigning the extent of the waterfront of the downtown area of Kingston, Jamaica.

Trinity Towers feature characteristics from three reference points in Kingston, Jamaica being Port Royal, Blue Mountain and Justice Park. Obelisk were put in place that is relative to the distance of that point of reference to my site which is site 4. The focus of my scheme is to facilitate the night-life of the Downtown Kingston area. The design has a hotel style layout that also focus on the tourist that we are attracting to the downtown area.
Raffles City hangzhou by UNstudio in China was used as precedence for this project.
