ARCHITECTURAL PORTFOLIO

Live/Work is a second year, second-semester project where public spaces meets private spaces. This project entailed creating an integrated living space and workspace for a selected type of family. The family I got was a single mother with a son and her profession was a wood-worker.

I began my design process by analyzing my site given, by examining the climate, vehicular and pedestrian traffic, public and private entrances etc. Because of my given site which was long and narrow, I adapted architect Frank Lloyd Wright's Prairie style architecture. Looking at the Robie C. House as my president.

 

I truly enjoyed doing the project and really wanted to step outside the box and do a full 3d presentation for my final critque.
