HOUSING PROJECT
Project no.4
Housing is a third year, first-semester project which was geared towards providing housing & communal spaces within the city of Kingston. This project entailed creating a number of apartments both studio and two bedroom units that meets the needs of the city.

I began my design process by analyzing my site given, by examining the climate, vehicular and pedestrian traffic, public and private entrances etc. Creating one carpark for each apartment, shops that serve both the public and residents of the complex and access to the site from both Haining and Lorde street. My design influences can from my study of Daniel Libeskind a great architect and a mentor. From a number of his designs including the Denver Art Museum and Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto I used as my presidence for this project.
